Nails Guide Launches Informational Site About Nails

Not often do we see a website which is dedicated to our nails.

Springfield, MO (PRunderground) July 14, 2008 – Not often do we see a website which is dedicated to our nails. This is what nails guide has tried to do. The site is dedicated to maintaining our nails and making them look beautiful. Speaking at the launch of the website Ms. Adina, the promoter of the site said that the idea of launching the site came to her when she was desperately looking about information on Acrylic Nails and failed to get quality information on the Internet. At this time she started working on this with a friend and together they started building on the website with the help of a web designing company. The entire development of the site took 3 months.

Ms.Adina said that the content of the site has been developed by her personal experience as a beautician, primary and secondary research. She emphasized the fact that the women of today would find it easy to get all details on everything related to their nails. She said that a web consultant is associated with the team to keep the site updated and managing the content. The information on the site covers a plethora of subjects such as Airbrush nails, fake nails, Gel Nails, Nail Biting and various other subjects. The site gives easy to understand steps, which can be useful to women who have little idea on the upkeep of their nails. Going forward she promised that the site would be populated with more content all relevant to nails and other beauty aspects of the women of today.

When asked about the funding of the site, she said that the site has been funded by her own funds and helps from friends and families. As for the revenue stream the site generates most of the revenues from advertising at present but going forward she plans to have a dedicated team of beauty professionals who would give beauty-consulting services to clients. She said that there is lot of demand for quality beauty consulting services and Nails Guide will fill in this gap. The site is meant to be a content intensive site, which will aim to give as much information as possible on nails. There is an option on giving comments on the articles that are posted on the website. The editor of the site will review the comments and give replies. The intention is to make the site as interactive as possible.

In the post lunch session Ms.Adina took various questions from journalists. Responding to one particular question on the site traffic, Ms. Adina said that the traffic has increased 50% over the period of 3 months. The Webmaster of the site keeps a track on the traffic rankings and this helps to keep the site traffic at higher levels. She mentioned with the content team and the expert’s team working hand-in-glove it is only expected that the site traffic will increase. She mentioned that at present, the site will remain a free site but going forward the site may charge consultancy fees on beauty consultancy. The press conference closed with a wine party for the visiting journalists.
