The launch of the new website, which now allows users to freely review, rate, and rank fraternity and sorority chapters themselves, comes almost two years after the launch of the original version of the site.
The site now features a large database that holds information on dozens of fraternities and sororities, as well as over one hundred universities. Once users find these schools, they can discuss greek life using a user friendly comment box on the right side, or they can rate fraternity and sorority chapters based on hotness, popularity, and other categories. Although GreekRank.com does censor and screen comments and ratings, it does not require users to register and login to use any of its features, allowing trouble free and easy browsing. According to the site, “thousands of rushes check our site out every rush season for the latest in greek chapter rankings.” With the new increase in schools supported, the site should reach a much larger crowd.
