Long Beach, CA (PRunderground) September 8, 2008 - Creative Writing Institute’s goal is to escort its students from their present level of learning to their highest individual potential.

Our program has a three-pronged approach:

  • We present professional material in such a way that every student will understand and profit from it.
  • Personable mentors accompany every student through their lessons, answer their questions, and help them avoid common pitfalls.
  • We evaluate the students at the end of their course and recommend the next best move on their ladder of learning.

School has not begun, but when it does, our students will range from ages 14 to 80 something. We would especially like to reach the middle-aged to older folks who will reach for their dream. That’s what we do at Creative Writing Institute – we grant dreams.

One of the comments I hear most is, “I’m too old to learn,” or “I can’t remember things like I used to.” To answer this, I will, for the first time, publicly reveal an embarrassing secret. Due to a medical problem, I have no short-term memory, but I continue to take classes, (at nearly 70 years of age). I will always take classes. Although I don’t consciously absorb a lot and I have no instant recall, somehow a portion sinks in sub-consciously, and it eventually finds it way out my fingers. This proves that you don’t have to remember everything consciously. So it’s the old story – if I can do it, you can, too.

Some want to write as a hobby. Some want to write articles. Some want to write stories and novels, to make a living doing what they love best. I have the same message for all – if you will step out and step toward what you want, we will help you reach your star. You CAN do it. Don’t you believe otherwise!

At Creative Writing Institute, you will find the most affordable school on the net, personable, attainable, and especially tailored to you and your needs. You won’t be a number to us. We know our students by their first names. Am I saying learning will be easy? No. Learning is always work, but you won’t be alone. We’ll walk every step of the way with you. C’mon over to http://www.creativewritinginstitute.com and check us out!
