New Jersey Based State-of-the-Art Complex Added To SFM Network

The Sports Facilities Management (SFM) has recently announced the latest addition to their national network of successful entertainment, sports and events facilities. Opening in fall of 2019, Apex Sports & Events (APEX) will operate as a premiere sport, entertainment and tournament destination located in the city of Hillsborough, New Jersey. Developed adjacent to the existing 700 acre Mountain View Park, the facility is positioned to be the epicenter of sports and entertainment in the northeast.

“This project truly embodies the essence of a multi-use facility,” says SFM Founder and CEO, Jason Clement. “The future of sports facilities extends well beyond the standard indoor or outdoor sports venue. They now include aspects of corporate and group events, membership options, local and travel sports, and family entertainment that this facility will offer once open.”

APEX will be more than 200,000 square feet of premier indoor space designed to offer group events, corporate team building, sports camps, clinics, leagues, rock climbing, and recreation activities.  Additionally, the complex includes both indoor and outdoor synthetic turf long fields for soccer, lacrosse, and football as well as space for a 200ft indoor softball/youth baseball diamond. The facility includes a full-sized, configurable turf field under a covered dome area as well as a second dome featuring a sports performance area with sprinting track and 6 batting cages. Owner Gregg Wilke and the SFM management team are focused on creating a one-of-a-kind guest experience and a hub of activity for the local community.

In addition to basketball and volleyball courts, the indoor hard structure includes active family entertainment amenities including a rock-climbing gym, play climb area, redemption arcade, and a mezzanine viewing area. The facility will also feature a full-service cafe and concessions area, multi-purpose meeting rooms, and a corporate conference room.
