New York, NY (PRUnderground) June 11th, 2019

Adam Hochfelder, Managing Director of Real Estate Acquisitions and Development at Merchants Hospitality, is a real estate developer with a remarkable reputation for pulling off stunning deals. With his recent transactions, he has firmly established the supremacy of Merchants Hospitality in New York City.

“Adam Hochfelder has recently completed multiple transactions for the organization, resulting in multi-million dollar acquisitions,” says the spokesperson for Merchants Hospitality. “Popularly known in the industry as the Wharton Whiz Kid, Hochfelder has earned amazing success at an early age than most businesses do in their lifetime. He ensures the company brings a distinct value proposition to their clients.”

Adam started his own real estate firm called Max Capital only three years after graduating from university, as he was keen to start early and build a solid foundation for his professional career. He learned the ropes of the real estate business at Newmark & Co, which combined finance and human capital.

The real estate expert attributes his extraordinary success in outwitting some of the biggest names in NYC commercial real estate business to his ability to persevere and not being complacent. He believes that learning from one’s mistake and developing a strong network of market specialists has helped him sustain his success.

Some of the biggest success stories of his career include acquisition of 230 Park Avenue and 1440 Broadway. These were whopping deals that made the industry notice Hochfelder and his team.

Hochfelder has completed multiple transactions for Merchants Hospitality resulting in the $110 million acquisition and assemblage of 1802-1810 Second Avenue. It will be the first super-luxury Senior Living Facility in Manhattan. He also helped Merchants Hospitality acquire the Brill Building at 1619 Broadway, a $185 Million Retail and Office Building in Times Square.

Hochfelder’s other acquisitions for Merchants Hospitality include the luxury residential apartment building on the Upper West Side, and the Global Hospitality & Restaurant Brand, Philippe Chow located in NYC and East Hampton.

Hochfelder steered his earlier firm, Max Capital Management Corp., a real estate investment firm in NYC with $3 billion in assets under management, to incredible heights of success as its co-founding partner. He was responsible for many key acquisitions and also found immense success in deals involving multiple residential properties in New York and Chicago.

He also had a key role to play in the development of properties such as the Hyatt Andaz at 485 Fifth Avenue in NYC and the Westin Aruba Resort & Casino in the Caribbean. Leading financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Wells Farg, and Citigroup financed his transactions.

Hochfelder was one of the youngest people ever selected to serve on the Real Estate Board of New York. He has served on NYC’s Economic Development Committee. He, along with Deputy Mayor Dan Doctoroff was instrumental in bringing the 2012 Summer Olympics to NYC.

The real estate genius is also associated with numerous social and philanthropic endeavors. It has changed the quality of lives of individuals and communities across NYC.
