Adrian Ballinger & Emily Harrington Release Intro YouTube Segment in Reality Series Featuring an Inside Look at Their Life, Training and Climbing/Skiing Expeditions

Power couple Adrian Ballinger and Emily Harrington, both iconic figures in the outdoor sports world, announced today the launch of their new YouTube reality channel, DangerStikTV. The channel will give followers an intimate, behind the scenes look into the couple’s adventurous lives, as they train for and take-on various outdoor challenges in rock climbing, mountaineering, big mountain skiing and their industry changing speed ascents.
“We want to give people a look at the process, the emotional highs and lows, the suffering and laughter, that’s comes with each expedition,” said Adrian Ballinger, a professional alpinist who has summited Mount Everest more 8 times (once without oxygen!) and heads-up Alpenglow Expeditions, a Lake Tahoe-based outdoor adventure guide company. “It’s going to totally humanize the process for them.”
The channel, which launches today, starts off with a compelling look at the couple at home in Lake Tahoe, California, and mixes archival footage of how they each reached this point in their careers and relationship.
“DangerStikTV comes from combining the nicknames we have for one another,” explains Emily Harrington, arguably the planet’s most well- rounded climber (Everest summit, 8000-meter ski descents, El Cap free climber, 5.14 sport climber, five-time US National Champion in competition climbing). “Adrian calls me Danger Mouse and I call him Stikbug – it perfectly sums up the playful, informal peek this channel is going to give everyone into our lives – both on and off the rock.”
Both Ballinger and Harrington have devoted followings on Instagram and Snapchat. This is their first foray into content creation on YouTube. “YouTube gives us the most flexibility when it comes to providing everyone a comprehensive view of our lives,” reporters Ballinger. “Expect some awesome, longer-form videos, which really reveal who we are and what we do as professional athletes, and how we try to balance our relationship and home lives with big wild adventures around the world.”
