At Artupia we aim to redefine the Art industry: we use cutting edge technology to connect international emerging artists with Art lovers. Every single day, we offer thousands of users the unique possibility to request a tailored Custom Painting with any Artupia Artist of their choosing or explore myriads of Original paintings. We are strong advocates for the global Art community and provide artists the opportunity to share their work without any limitations or prejudice. Our mission is to disrupt the Art industry’s current boundaries by rewarding merit fairly through transparent pricing and, empowering people to collect inspiring and incredible Art once again. In 2017 we launched our iOS application, Artupia 1.0. We have grown and learned a lot in the past two years; Artupia 5.0 is our new definition.

Custom paintings

We are launching a whole new product called Custom paintings. Users can now turn their visions into reality by selecting an artist of their choosing to create a personal and handmade painting by uploading an image they want replicated and fine-tuning key elements of the custom project like: subject, canvas size, painting style.

The new features

Dark Mode

We added support for Dark Mode on iOS 13.

AR improvements

We implemented support for People Occlusion functionality provided in ARKit 3 with iOS 13. Now AR paintings realistically pass behind and in front of people in the real world, making the AR experience more immersive and Art more perceptible.

Sign In with Apple

We added support for Sign In with Apple provided with iOS 13 and we revamped the Login and Registration process.

Explore tab

We redesigned the explore tab to enhance our users’ experience on the app and help them to find exactly what they’re looking for. They’ll be able to filter as many categories as they want to speed up the paintings’ selection process.

User profile

The revamped user profile enables users to set up their personal privacy parameters and easily edit information. Additionally, we have added a tab where users are able to view all previous Custom painting they have purchased.

Artwork details

We have redesigned the way users dive into a painting’s details to provide them with more in-depth information about the painting they like. Specifically our update supports: more technical details (material, paint, size etc) of each painting, an increase in the quality and the number of photos we have of each individual painting and, it also provides 3D animations of each artwork to provide users with a 360° view.

Checkout

The checkout process has been streamlined. We already had Apple Pay as a payment option but now our users will find Checkout with Apple Pay as a new purchase option in the new redesigned Shopping Bag to make it faster and easier to buy their favorite paintings!

For our Artists
Additionally we have simplified the registration process on how to become an Artist on Artupia. We have a whole new experience of adding painting on Artupia which will make everything much easier!
