Magnovo Training Group recently facilitated a Hospital Helper charity teambuilding workshop in Scottsdale. The gracious recipient, Banner Health Foundation, received 25 care packages to use for babies and patients at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix. The intended use of the care packages is for infants and their families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU.

The eight teams assembled packages that would be appreciated by those with premature or ill infants in the NICU. According to Banner Health Foundation, the items of comfort were much appreciated and will be put to good use.

“Thank you for these care packages that help make life better for our tiniest patients and their families during a stay in the NICU,” said Andy Kramer Petersen, President & CEO of the Banner Health Foundation. “This kind of generosity from the community reminds families they are not alone during what can be a very scary time with their new baby.”

Hospital Helpers is designed for groups who want to show they care, who have a connection to the health care industry, or who want to help a particular facility in their community. Packages contain anything someone stuck in a hospital bed might need. Sponsors can choose where their donation packages will go, and Magnovo will customize the package contents to fit the destination.

Magnovo partners with businesses and organizations of all sizes to provide various teambuilding workshops to their associates. The charity team building events not only develop a stronger and more cohesive team, but each one has a philanthropic twist — giving back through local charities and community organizations. These workshops were created with the goal of inspiring significant, positive change within organizations and communities.

Established in 2001, the Banner Health Foundation secures and stewards charitable contributions to advance Banner Health’s mission, investing in facilities and programs that support advancements in care, research, health education, patient services and a variety of community programs.
