Los Angeles, CA (PRUnderground) November 6th, 2014

Scheduled for a Spring 2015 theatrical release, post-production begins this month on the Beau Smart Fueled action movie Street. The feature film is produced by Lyle Howry of Skinfly Entertainment and Jeffrey Ross of Stellaris Films, and directed by Emmy award winner Bradford May of Hawaii Five O and JAG fame.

When asked why Street is so special, Mr. Ross said, “Bradford took a heartfelt script and added his creative cinematic touch, giving us a heartwarming, Rocky-type, love story that elevates Street far above any typical fight film.”

Adding to this, Smart, in character as Remo Street, shows the extent of his acting range, combining the toughness of an MMA fighter, with the loving warmth and compassion of a loving brother, and son to a dying mother. As his break-out starring role in a feature film, Smart delivers beyond expectations.

Street is produced by Lyle Howry, of Wedding Day, starring David Koechner, and by feature film writer and producer Jeffrey Ross, best known for Shadow Conspiracy starring Charlie Sheen and the award winning film, Lost and Found Family. The film’s director, Bradford May, is an Emmy award winner who’s sensitive and dramatic style of lighting and graceful manner of directing actors has made him one of Hollywood’s most prolific talents.

Street features MMA icon Frank Trigg, and current fighters John Hennigan, Matt Mitrione, Bellator Light-Heavyweight-Champion Emanuel Newton, Jay Hieron and Uriah Hall.

“I think this film will be appluaded by MMA enthusiasts while at the same time appealing to those who like a good love story, and of course those who are inspired by come-from-behind underdog movies like Rocky, Rudy, and other films of those kind,” added Mr. Howry.
