This is the heart of Broken Grey Wires, a legacy of mental health in contemporary art that is anchored internationally.

Music from Madame X & Lazy Susan

Madame X & Lazy Susan have a regular night Voyage dans le Vinyl that has been keeping people happy and dancing at Indo, in the heart of Whitechapel, for the last decade. Playing in various other venues in and around East London like 93 Feet East, The Rhythm Factory and Hackney Empire to name a few, where Madame X has also had residencies with her own nights such as Rip her to shreds and Electrocute.

They play an eclectic range of music that crosses genres from 50’s settling on the darker side of modern electro. Think Bowie, Yeah yeah yeah’s, Depeche Mode, Harry Belafonte, Rolling Stones, Nick cave, The Knife, Kate Bush, Patti Smith, The Cramps, Kraftwerk and more…

Music to sooth the savage beast.

Henrietta Armstrong (Madame X) and Kirsty Harris (Lazy Susan) are both artists based in London where they regularly exhibit.
