Crowdnetic Launches CWMarketdata

Crowdnetic, the leading provider of technology and market data solutions to the crowdfunded-securities and marketplace-lending industries, today announces the launch of CWMarketdata. CWMarketdata will make available, for the first time ever, exclusive market data downloads from over 4,000 active and closed 506(c) offerings across a wide range of leading investment crowdfunding portals.  Crowdnetic has been collecting this data via CrowdWatch, its proprietary Crowdfinance Data Platform (CDP), since September 23, 2013 when the rules for Title II of the JOBS Act, allowing for general solicitation, were implemented.

Now, through CWMarketdata, crowdfinance data will be available to institutional and retail investors as well as financial consultants, analysts and other interested parties—all delivered via CSV format for easy importing across a variety of applications.  This flexibility allows users to be able to customize their data within specific ranges by more than forty fields including the issuer name, location, target raise, status, security type, valuation, sector, subsector, and industry.

CrowdWatch, released in October 2013, is the only real-time market data platform in the industry to aggregate and normalize data from private issuers privately raising capital (PIPRs) on over a dozen portals.  Through this platform, investors gain access to in-depth industry information such as issuers’ details and raise status, quarterly data research reports, listings of Regulation D SEC filings among other powerful tools and features.  The CrowdWatch platform has recently been enhanced to include new features such as geographical heat maps displaying distribution of deals in terms of number of PIPRs and capital commitments, as well as advanced sorting capabilities for greater ease when identifying deals.  The CWMarketdata package further enhances CrowdWatch’s offerings to help industry participants gain a greater understanding of crowdfinanced opportunities.
