Crowdnetic Releases Real Estate Focused Data Analysis Report for Q2

Industry: Financial Services

Crowdnetic’s most recent data analysis release focuses on the growing real estate crowdfunding marketplace.

New York, NY (PRUnderground) July 16th, 2014

Crowdnetic, a leading provider of technology and market data solutions to the crowdfunded securities and peer-lending industry, today releases their second quarterly PIPR (Private Issuers Publicly Raising) data analysis report for the period ending June 30, 2014, including an in-depth focus on the crowdfunding real estate industry.  Crowdfinanced real estate has been a trending topic recently as it opens up new strategies to invest in an asset class that has been historically restricted to a select few investors.  The new crowdfunding rules are changing this both for accredited investors, who may currently participate through Title II of the JOBS Act, as well as in the near future for all investors once the Title III rules come into effect.

Since September 23, 2013, Crowdnetic has aggregated and normalized the data from 4,394 PIPRs, of which 3,536 are currently active, representing a 25% increase in the number of active PIPRs from the last quarterly report.  Of note, these increases are due not only to additional intermediaries included in Crowdnetic’s data feed, but also the underlying growth in 506(c) offerings as the industry continues to gain traction.  While the nascent PIPR industry remains relatively small in relation to other private security industries, its consistent growth poises it to be a strong contender for establishing itself as a sustainable capital raising option over the long-term.

Crowdnetic’s CEO, Luan Cox, says, “As we continue to collect data and include additional intermediaries on our platform, we deliver awareness and insight into these alternative asset classes.  We are thrilled to be witnessing history with the growth of this new marketplace.”

Crowdnetic’s proprietary data platform, CrowdWatch, and its private offerings content suite on MarketWatch includes data from eleven intermediaries including: Alchemy Global, AngelList, Crowdfunder, EarlyShares, EquityNet, Microventures, Patch Of Land, Realty Mogul, Return On Change, SeedInvest, and WeFunder.  This report is co-sponsored by Kingdom Trust Company, Springboard Enterprises, SparkMarket and Ventureneer.
