Dom.Ru Business Launches Telephony Services in Moscow on SwitchRay’s Class 5 VoIP-platform

Telecom operator Dom.ru Business (ER-Telecom Holding brand in B2B market) announced today that it began providing IP-telephony services for corporate customers in Moscow. To launch this service, the operator has built and put into operation a local telephony communication node, received licenses, and acquired a resource for 3000 numbers with Moscow code: +7 (495) from the Federal Communications Agency (Rossvyaz).  Today Dom.ru Business offers telephony services for businesses with a local numbering on the basis of its own universal telecommunications network as well as on the networks of partner operators in Russian regions.

The services are based on SwitchRay’s Class 5 VoIP-platform with SIP protocol. In comparison with classic telephony, it allows improved quality of communication and gives new opportunities for VAS (Value Added Services). Using the data network for voice traffic can significantly reduce the cost of calls, and with the connection to cloud telephony Dom.ru Business service becomes easy to customize and manage. Another service available for Dom.ru Business customers is the “package of minutes”, which allows significant savings on local, long distance and international calls. By entering the Moscow telephony market, operators will not only be able to offer services to Moscow businesses, but can also provide its own numbering for branch and head offices of companies with distributed branch networks, who are already Dom.ru Business customers in various regions of Russia. The operator has registered its first service connections in Moscow.
