Online education provider extends distance learning opportunities to Arkansas college

Arkansas (PRUnderground) February 10th, 2015

Ed4Online is pleased to announce that it has formed a partnership with National Park Community College (NPCC) Community and Corporate Training department. Through this new partnership, all of Ed4Online’s continuing education courses will be available to NPCC students via the college’s e-learning course catalog, in a privately branded classroom provided by Ed4Online.

Ed4Online’s partnership with NPCC opens the door for students to experience the hundreds of online learning opportunities offered by the company, in a setting that’s convenient and accessible. NPCC students will have the ability to pursue academic success in distinct areas of focus, including Career Training and Personal Enrichment.

“Our partnership with National Park Community College is helping us bring exceptional educational opportunities to those students who may otherwise be limited by their schedule or accessibility issues when it comes to traditional classroom learning,” said Dr. Tricia Seymour, Chief Operating Officer at Ed4Online. “We’re very much looking forward to the possibilities that this partnership creates.”

Located in Hot Springs, AR, National Park Community College represents the fourth largest community college in the state, serving more than 4,000 enrolled students each semester, as well as another 2,000 students seeking non-credit continuing education opportunities. The college blends liberal arts programs and occupational education to provide career-focused instruction that prepares students for workforce entry.

Some of the college’s larger customized workforce training opportunities include courses for business and industry, as well as amenities such as courses for the hospitality and tourism industry, computer classes and various other professional development workshops. Ed4Online will supplement these focuses through its extensive list of online learning and workforce preparation courses.

“Our goal is always to accommodate our students and further their learning potentials,” said Kelli E. Albrecht, Director of Community and Corporate Training at National Park Community College. “Working in tandem with Ed4Online really opens up a realm of digital resources that our students can take advantage of. We look forward to the many opportunities that this partnership will provide for our institution.”
