EP “XOXO” by Jayyestarrr crosses over 100k streams on Spotify

This talented artist from Sunset, Louisiana, Jayyestarrr has actively been making music from an early age of 12. His hands-on experience and passion for music led him to make some of the greatest music that is loved and appreciated by a supportive fan base, which he has earned over the years. After giving many hits like “Gossip”, “Too Much”, and “Beast!”, Jayyestarrr has released his latest project titled “XOXO”, that has received acclamation from the listeners worldwide. Just within a few days of its release, “XOXO” has crossed over 100k streams on Spotify. His latest single “Somebody Remix”, featuring Cupid from the Cupid Shuffle and Nebu, has also been getting hourly spins on the radio in SW Louisiana.

“XOXO” is the most successful project by Jayyestarrr to date. This EP comprises of 5 mellifluous songs that demonstrate this artist’s amazing music-making skills and a knack for unique sound and rhythm. The songs on this EP include, “Colorblind”, “Love Me”, “Somebody”, “Super Splash Bros”, and the title track, “XOXO”. For this EP, Jayyestarrr moved outside his comfort zone and let his creativity take over. It is truly said, “Good things happen to you when you step out of your comfort zone”. All the music on this EP comes from a true place and real-life experiences that this artist has gone through in his life.

Inspired by his uncle Sherrod to make music, he was introduced to rap music when he was just 2. But it was the song “Funky Lil Aggin” that motivated Jayyestarrr to kickstart his musical journey.

Telling more about his musical journey, Jayyestarrr says, “My musical journey so far has had its highs and lows; an even amount of both. I started young. I joined a group, the Durio Family, and got signed shortly after. That flopped. Then a few years later, I got signed again. That also flopped. Then I re-emerged as the solo artist I knew I always was. I started handling my music business affairs hands on. Started an indie label with my closest bros, Trill Society, and now we’re on a true path to greatness.”

Jayyestarrr’s music is transparent but versatile. His music can’t be boxed to any particular genre as he loves to experiment with different styles, which make his music unique.

He urges his fans to brace themselves, as more music is on the way. He feels thankful for all the love and support that he receives from his fans, who have helped him become the artist that he is today.
