Phone Number Porting Now Available

Sullivan, MO (PRUnderground) April 8th, 2016

Fidelity Communications is pleased to offer a new full-service residential voice solution, as well business communications services, for El Dorado Springs, MO, Thayer, MO, and Hardy, AR, effective immediately.

Initially, residential and business services will be available to potential customers with existing phone numbers provided by the local telephone company. These phone numbers may now be ported to Fidelity voice services. New number availability is coming soon.

MAXLine Residential service normally sells for $19.99 per month, but Fidelity is offering a promotion for new residential customers priced at $15 per month for the first 12 months. That price includes unlimited local calls and unlimited long distance.

MAXLine Residential also includes Voicemail and basic features like Call Waiting, Caller ID Name and Number, Three-Way Calling, Anonymous Call Rejection, Automatic Callback, Call Forwarding, Call Return, Last Number Redial, Do Not Disturb, Speed Dial 100 and many more. A comparable service with the local telephone company costs more than $50 if bundled with another service, and over $65 if sold individually.

Advanced features like BroadWorks Anywhere and CommPilot Express are also part of the MAXLine residential service. BroadWorks Anywhere extends Fidelity voice service so customers can make and receive calls from any phone. It also allows them to transfer active calls from one phone to another. CommPilot Express gives customers the option to create up to four profiles that control inbound calls. For example, calls may be sent to voicemail or forwarded to another number, or they may be automatically set to ring another phone number.

The majority of available call features are managed via the Web portal (www.myfidphone.com) or via star (*) codes using a touch-tone phone. A Quick Start guide is available to help customers easily use these features and navigate the portal. A more detailed, longer-form User Guide is also available on Fidelity’s Web site. It includes star (*) codes along with information about all features. The Quick Start User Guide is also available, as well as a link to the www.myfidphone.com portal.

“Fidelity is very excited to offer voice services to the communities of El Dorado Springs, Thayer and Hardy,” said Rachel Steinkiste, Fidelity’s voice product manager. “Fidelity’s Home Phone provides both reliability and peace of mind at an affordable price. We want to be their first choice not only for phone, but for all their communications needs.”

The MUSTLine business line is a basic phone line including Caller ID; the MEGALine business line is more feature-rich; the MAXLine business line comes with all available features plus unlimited long distance. In addition, Fidelity Business Services offers full and fractional PRIs as well as long distance bucket options.

“Business customers are looking for a single carrier for all their voice and data telecom needs,” said Director of Sales Holly Bryant. “Launching phone services in these markets gets us there. It puts us in a position to be the one carrier they need.”
