Gather is a new online platform for creatives who live and work near each other

Gather is an online platform which brings together designers, developers, writers and other creatives who live and work near each other.

Gather will allow individuals to build their profile, share their work, meet like-minded neighbours, and start collaborating.  When searching, the platform will centre on a user’s location helping them find others within a given radius. That might be a graphic designer sourcing a photographer or a web developer finding an illustrator.

Gather will help creatives find new leads, collaborate and aid their recruitment process.

Jon Gedny, Managing Director at Line Industries says, “It’s very easy in a digital age to forget locality, it’s not essential to work with someone nearby but it’s often preferable. A platform like Gather will help nurture local creative communities.  With so many creative companies in the industry, many of whom are quite small, you are not always aware of what they can offer. Gather will help map that community and lead to some great opportunities.”
