Global powers could be helpless at stopping nuclear retaliation – reveals TWILIGHT VISITOR

Industry: Books

Twilight Visitor - a contemporary thriller - "comparable with the best of Dan Brown or Jack Higgins." - says novelist, David Luddington

United Kingdom (PRUnderground) November 7th, 2014

Twilight Visitor shockingly reveals that global powers could be utterly inept in dealing with the debacle of nuclear retaliation. The book, just released through Netherworld Books (England), is a global thriller which shows a disturbingly realistic scenario of an energy-desperate China suddenly invading Iran over oil, and the shocking realization that Iran did in fact possess nuclear weapons, and in a moment of final desperation to save itself, fires a warhead on Beijing.

The story is two-pronged in nature – one part taking place in Portugal where a bioengineer is vacationing and meets an enigmatic woman who reveals to him that a nuclear war is about to start and that he alone can stop it; and the other part, on the other side of the globe, as the war erupts and as the world watches on.

The story covers a 24 hour period, during which time global leaders find themselves helpless at stopping what seems to be an inevitable debacle. Only the mystery woman holds the clue, and just one dysfunctional man, sitting on the shores of a coastal town in Portugal, can make it happen in time.  Twilight Visitor is a contemporary and eye-opening story, with many philosophical and political overtones as well as a thrill-ride which, as novelist, David Luddington puts it… “is comparable with the best of Dan Brown or Jack Higgins.”
