How to create a family homoparental actually

London, UK (PRUnderground) July 13th, 2017

Many countries have now legalised same-sex marriages, but society still has a way to go in detailing exactly what this may entail. The norm after most couples marry is to create a family, this is seen as standard procedure between heterosexual couples, so why is it still classed as atypical for homosexual couples?

Most people have the similar life goals; personal success, happiness, love, acceptance and in many cases, raising a child and having a family. A child needs love, respect and to have their general well-being looked after, it does not matter whether or not they receive this from a mother and a father, or two fathers or two mothers. Love is love.

Bit by bit we are seeing the standardised family moulds being broken down thanks to the increase in homoparental families, and studies which show that children of homoparental families are just as happy as those born into heterosexual couples. In fact these studies have even revealed that the children of homosexual couples are 6% healthier and have a stronger bond to their family.

When it comes to creating their family, some homosexual couples resort to adoption, others to an assisted reproductive clinic (frequent with lesbian couples) and others to surrogate gestation (frequent with gay couples) but they are faced with the consequent economic and bureaucratic impact required by any of these options.

Online platforms like date and procreate offer natural, supportive and economical alternative options for homosexual and heterosexual couples or singles who want to fulfil their desire to be parents.

Our service allows its users to find semen donors in a more humane and warm way than having to go to a semen bank. It consists of an agreement between two or more people who decide to have and raise a child together without living together. Traditionally, shared parenthood came into play when parents separated or divorced, but today it is becoming a suitable choice for many people, whether heterosexual or homosexual, single or in a couple, who want to be a mother or father.

Of course, it is important that the parties define in advance the role of each party in the education and development of the child. The bottom line is that the family is a safe and stable place to grow in love, understanding and support. The wonderful thing about a thought out pregnancy is that there will never be a niggling feeling of ‘this wasn’t planned’.
