Summer 2019 marks the two-year anniversary of I Am So Kate Boutique’s brick and mortar location, and the brand is celebrating in style. The Big Hats and Biz Besties anniversary tea, to be held from 12-3pm July 21st at Social Graces Club, will provide attendees with a dynamic experience including shopping, networking and an entrepreneurship-focused panel.
I Am So Kate was founded in 2015 and quickly grew in recognition, earning the brand a proclaimed day by Mayor Sylvester Turner as well as Boutique of the Year at the Texas Black Expo. The boutique has consistently adorned its customers, including local influencers and taste-makers, in fabulous, fashion-forward styles for every season and occasion. Big Hats and Biz Besties, a Kentucky Derby hat-themed tea, aims to translate the same high-class daily wear atmosphere provided while shopping to networking and a discussion about business. Panelists such as artist, Rongrong Devoe; twin mom and engineer, Muneera Page; interior designer, Tavia Christal; CEO of Kisa Kisa Fashion, Kisa Williams; CEO or Simply Scents, Shan Greggs; CEO of Pure Vichy, LeBrina Johnson; fashion blogger and graphic designer, Meaka Como; and one half of The Marketing Chicks, Nicole Matthew are set to join host, Christyen Breckenbridge along with So Kate owner, Shawna Campbell in doing so.
