Upstate NY Game Developers combine forces to form Indie Dev Rx and help Indie Game Developers in the area they admittedly loathe as part of the development process of games, marketing and contacts.

Time and time again indie game developers project that their least desireable activity yet most important thing other than the product itself is developing relationships with press, game streamers, maintianing those contacts and marketing their product to ensure revenue.

Indie Dev Rx was created as a result of indie game developers themselves seeing this as a huge hurdle and time suck in the development process. One developer involved in the project released two iOS products 4 months between each product and discovered late in the process that 40+ press contacts had gone out of business that were used in marketing the first product.

This is where Indie Dev Rx comes in. Indie Dev Rx is offering curated, maintained, and updated database access to over 270 game press direct contact info for product review and over 375 game streamer direct contact info for business requests. Indie Dev Rx offers a preview of each database on the website https://www.indiedevrx.com/services/

Full access to these databases are available through subscription of the Indie Dev Rx Patreon page and is set at $5 USD per month.

Indie Dev Rx is also working on a curated and managed area of the site for game industry, sites, tools, resources and knowlege that will be free to access on the page and subscriber donor supported with a separate Patreon tier.

Long-term goal of Indie Dev Rx is to also provide a curated independent artist, programmer, developer database for indie developers to find experienced developers to work on legitimate games that will be released and that pay, and delivery of work is expected and fulfilled.
