InSight Mobile Data Announces FMCSA ELD Certification for the StreetEagle Utility Tablet

InSight Mobile Data, Inc., a leading provider of Mobile Resource Management (MRM) tools for companies of all sizes, announced today that its StreetEagle ELD solution running on the SE Utility Tablet is now certified with the FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration). A provider of AOBRD (Automatic On-Board Recording Device) solutions for many years, InSight has completed the product development and testing necessary to meet all the technical and functional specifications for the more stringent ELD (Electronic Logging Device) requirements.

The solution is “all-in-one,” complete with a device connected to the vehicle’s ECM, software to collect, interpret and populate the HoS and DVIR data required and a ruggedized 8” tablet with user-friendly software for drivers to manage their daily activities.
