The Nashville-based donor management and fundraising software company makes the list with 3-year revenue growth of over 300%

Nashville, TN (PRUnderground) August 13th, 2020

Kindful, a Nashville-based nonprofit software provider best known for its easy-to-use platform, beautiful interface, and best-in-class integrations, has been named one of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. by Inc. Magazine. The publication announced its annual Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies, where Kindful ranks 1,492 with three-year revenue growth of over 300 percent for the last three years. This is the first time the software company has made the list, joining many companies like Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, and Patagonia that gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

“It’s a huge honor to be included on the Inc. 5000 this year,” says Jeremy L. Bolls, Kindful’s Founder and CEO. “The tremendous growth we’ve been so fortunate to experience over the last several years is the result of the hard work of our team and the continued support of all the organizations that choose to use Kindful as their software of choice to run their nonprofit.”

Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”

Other organizations continue to take note of Kindful’s momentum and growing customer community, including SaaS Mag, which recently added Kindful to its SaaS 1000 list. In addition, Kindful has also been recognized by its users as one of the top software companies in the donor management space. This year, TrustRadius named Kindful one of its Top Rated Products and G2 added the organization to its Highest Satisfaction 2020 list.

“We are excited about what the future holds for Kindful, our team, and the organizations we serve,” says Andy Howell, Kindful’s President and Chief Operating Officer. “Our aim is to continue to create software solutions for nonprofit organizations that make the incredible work they do easier, help them raise more funds, and ultimately empower them to do more good.”

Methodology

The 2020 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2016 and 2019. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2016. They had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for profit, and independent—not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies—as of December 31, 2019. (Since then, a number of companies on the list have gone public or been acquired.) The minimum revenue required for 2016 is $100,000; the minimum for 2019 is $2 million. As always, Inc. reserves the right to decline applicants for subjective reasons. Companies on the Inc. 500 are featured in Inc.’s September issue. They represent the top tier of the Inc. 5000, which can be found at https://www.inc.com/inc5000.
