After years of research and development and rigorous testing, USSC developed its Valor line of fire seats, widely considered to be a breakthrough in comfort, safety and durability.
Valor’s unique ergonomically designed, space-saving passenger seats properly support a firefighter either with or without gear, and help reduce driver fatigue common to first responders’ duties. Built for extreme and constant use, the entire line of Valor fire seating products are constructed from the same military-grade fabric used on US war fighter seats. The upholstery can be removed and replaced and is easy to care for, requiring no special cleaning equipment to remain in outstanding condition.
HIGH TECH, RUGGED AND SAFE
Valor fire seats offer built-in accident protection with IMMI RollTek airbag and roll-over technology.
When a rollover incident seems imminent, the RollTek system is activated which tightens seat belts and inflates the side airbags in every outboard location. The unique RollTek system increases safety in roll-over events.
The Valor Crew seats are available in either fixed or flip configurations and come in both SCBA and non-SCBA style. For the first time at FDIC the Valor crew seats will also feature seat heat, USB charging stations and recline and LED lighting.
Valor Crew and Officer Seats come standard with magnetic SCBA pack support straps that allow for easy ingress into the seat. Each seat has a dual retractor ABTS belt system with integrated ready-reach belt design and industry leading extra-long webbing. These features allow for optimal access, retraction speed, comfort and egress speed in the harshest conditions.
USSC’s Valor crew seats offer dynamic adjustable SCBA brackets that automatically adjust for each fire fighter to provide a proper fit against the bolsters and headrest areas. Seated occupants ride in a safe seating position with additional comfort and without feeling the SCBA pack pressing uncomfortably upon the lower back.
COMFORTABLE DRIVER SEATING BUILT TO LAST
All driver and officer seats have the same structural integrity and dynamic suspension systems as those USSC built for US military armed vehicles.
The Valor G2A air suspension driver’s seat on display at FDIC features dual retractor belts with integrated ready reach, as well as an easy-to-reach front toggle control for height which boasts a 650 lb lift capacity.
The G2 series seat has multiple safety features including upper, lower and mid back lumbar adjustments, as well as an air slide button allowing fore/aft adjustment with just the touch of a button. Other options include a reclining seat backrest (available with SCBA), an extra-wide cushion and dual retractor belts.
The Valor twelve way electric seat is also on display. For the first time at FDIC this seat will show the five way memory feature. Each driver will be safely moved into position with just a single touch of a button. The adjustable features also include height, multiple way lumbar, recline and fore/aft adjustment.
