Rochester, NY (PRUnderground) November 1st, 2017

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, announces a new partnership with Packt, a technology publisher creating learning resources on new and emerging topics to keep developers’ skills relevant.

The partnership between Logical Operations and Packt will bring Packt’s in-demand portfolio of software development training curriculum to Logical Operations’ network of over 3,000 training partners worldwide. Logical Operations will initially offer 10 courses and build to nearly 100 courses in 2018 from the Packt portfolio. These courses cover .NET, Angular, JavaScript, data science, development and operations (DevOps), and blockchain, among many other topics. These new titles complement Logical Operations’ existing portfolio of HTML5, Python, developing secure iOS/Android apps for business, and Cyber Secure Coder (CSC) courseware, which empowers IT organizations to deliver better value and services.

The new titles from Packt will be delivered on the Logical Operations CHOICE digital learning platform, providing students and instructors with both print and print plus digital delivery options.

“Packt is delighted to begin working with Logical Operations, combining our knowledge of the emerging technology landscape with Logical Operations’ experience and presence in the IT training market”, said Heather Gopsill, Head of Partners at Packt. “As technology stacks become more diverse, increasingly including disruptive and open source tools, the way developers work and train is changing. Working together, this partnership will enable more training companies to embrace this change, offering solutions on the new tools and technologies powering digital transformation.”

Adding Packt’s market-leading emerging technology instructor-led training products is a natural extension to Logical Operations’ existing web and mobile development portfolio,” said Jeff Felice, EVP Partners & Alliances at Logical Operations. “Through our new collaboration with Packt, we can assist our partners in preparing the next generation of developers to better understand the core concepts of their profession and use of the latest technologies to advance their careers.”
