Mad Mind Studios Launches New CBD Tea and Matcha Products for Kickback

Mad Mind Studios, a Los Angeles-based marketing agency, has just launched a line of CBD tea and matcha for Kickback Cold Brew. The agency has partnered with the beverage company since their initial launch in 2016, with only two cold brew coffee products. Now, they stock five ready-to-drink cold brews and four hot brew coffee and tea products.

Omid Mousaei, CEO and founder of Mad Mind Studios, attributes the company’s success to a strong marketing strategy. “Kickback has been a great partner to work with because we were able to start with a quality product,” said Mousaei. “Shaping the brand identity, design, and market strategy around the healthy, stress-relieving benefits was key in helping them find their place in the market.”

Mad Mind Studios created the packaging design for the new products, featuring cool tones and simple illustrations. The agency also designed the original Kickback logo and website design, and have been managing the brand’s marketing, PR, and social media campaigns since the beginning. Kickback is now stocked in over 200 stores, including Erewhon Market, where the brand will be available in December. The new line of loose-leaf teas and matcha powder are currently exclusively sold online at Kickback’s website.

The CBD Matcha Tea, Matcha’Cha, contains organic, active CBD that is blended into the powder. With its origins in Japanese ceremonial culture, this matcha tea has smooth and subtle hints of vegetal taste and tannin. The matcha is grown at an elevation of 500 masl.

Peachy Dreams, a CBD Peach Ginger Tea, also has active, organic CBD infused into its leaves. It has a refreshing, fruity taste and a crisp, full-bodied texture. The origins of this ginger peach black tea are the Nilgiri Mountains in India at an elevation of 1800-2000 masl.

Kickback has recently been featured in several online publications like Bon Appetit and Byrdie, and is currently working with social media influencers as well. The buzz around the beverage company has been amplified since the launch of their CBD Ground Coffees (O.G. Cali Rise and O.G. Cali Daze), which sold out within 48 hours on their website. Mad Mind Studios plans on using this momentum to continue pushing sales and positioning Kickback as a leader in their industry.
