MDP Announces Donation To The Oakville Community Foundation

MDP LLP, a leading Canadian accounting firm with headquarters in Oakville, Ontario, today announced that it has made a donation to the Oakville Community Foundation. The financial contribution was declared during an exclusive event held at the new MDP main office on April 4 th, 2019 in celebration of the recent move. Clients and invited guests were encouraged to donate to play the MDP Grand Slam putting challenge, in which all donations were matched and multiplied by MDP.
MDP’s donation to the Oakville Community Foundation will go towards improving the Oakville community. The Foundation supports charitable activities and utilizes donations across the town in areas that need it most.
The Oakville Community Foundation connects people, families and companies with the causes that inspire them. The charity pools expertise, knowledge and resources to ensure a greater impact, while helping donors realize their philanthropic goals by matching their interests with community needs.
MDP recently moved their head office from Mississauga to Oakville. The move consolidated their Mississauga and Oakville offices into a new larger, modern, and more accessible headquarters south of the QEW highway on Chartwell Road.
During the event, Leslie Spyropoulos, partner at MDP, remarked on the importance of MDP moving operations to Oakville and engaging with the Oakville community. “MDP has always had a lot of client and personal connections with Oakville but after 25 years of being a Mississauga based business, we are excited to engage in our new community. The Oakville Community Foundation endeavours to assist in helping people give back to their community in areas that need it the most. I encourage you all to play in our putting challenge where MDP will match and multiply the contribution you make, with all of it going to the Oakville Community Foundation,” said Spyropoulos.
