Musician Luclover Releases New Single "Her Loss ft. Dmxn"

14-year-old rapper Luclover may be young, but he has a self-awareness beyond his years. Since the age of 4, he was immersed in the world of basketball but realized many years later that his true passion was for music. He started creating music earlier this year and has used the power of social media to create songs listeners truly want to listen to, like his latest single “Her Loss ft. Dmxn.”

“Her Loss ft. Dmxn” can only be described as a banger. Full of sleek production, lyrical flow and sick beats, the track is sure to be on repeat in listeners’ headphones. The influence of Luclover’s musical heroes like Lil uzi vert, Drake, Travis Scott, Juice WRLD, Playboi Carti, and NAV shines through.

Luclover harnessed social media to take his ideas and transform them into the exact sound his fans wanted to hear. He and fellow artist Dmxn, who is featured on the track, worked closely together, putting in late nights perfecting the track and posting snippets on Instagram to get opinions and feedback on their work. Their process worked. After releasing a snippet of the final mix, fans were reaching out asking for a chance to listen to the full single before the release date.

“There was so much hard work, effort, meaning, and passion that was put into this single. As soon as we made the final touches to this song we knew we had created something special,” says Luclover about his dedication to the project and the final product.

Luclover is a 14-year-old rapper and musician based in Houston, TX, his family is originally from Morocco. Music wasn’t Luclover’s first passion, basketball was. He first picked up a ball at the age of 4, and his parents helped him to develop his skills and excel to an advanced level by taking him to practice, personal training and playing with him in the backyard. In January of 2019, Luclover found that his drive to play basketball was gone and that he wanted to take a different path and create music. His parents fully supported this switch and helped him set up a home studio, where Luclover still records. His first single “999” has almost 70,000 views on Soundcloud.
