Nest Cyber Monday Deals: Tim Marr Announces Nest Camera Cyber Monday & Black Friday 2017 Predictions

Tim Marr, a technology deal tracking website, have published their forecasts for the best Cyber Monday Nest deals. This year they’re expecting discounts on Nest security cameras, smart learning thermostas and the Nest Protect smoke detector.

Tim Marr and his team use historical price data and information on previous Nest Black Friday & Cyber Monday deals in order to predict future deals. This year they are predicting discounts of 50% and 15% on the Nest Indoor and Outdoor security cameras. This compares with the 36% and 14% reductions on these products last Black Friday & Cyber Monday. This would also be the first time that the Nest Indoor Cam was available for under $100. They are also predicting 10% falls on the new IQ smart cam indoor and outdoor series .

When asked about likely Nest deals for the upcoming Cyber Monday & Black Friday sales, Tim Marr, lead deals analyst, offered the following insights:

Nest have been very active this year bringing out two new smart home security cameras and a new smart thermostat. With the arrival of these new products we expect two major impacts for Cyber Monday. Nest are likely to offer large reductions on older models such as the Learning Thermostat whilst also aiming to gain sales traction through discounts on their 2017 models. With this in mind, expect deals in the range of 10% on 2017 products such as the Nest Cam IQ.

As for the Nest Protect smoke detector, Tim Marr and his team are expecting 10% reductions this year. As was the case last year they believe bigger deals will be available on Nest Protect bundle deals which come with smart LED lightbulbs.
