Interestingly, with this feat, the Predators became the first wild-card and eight-seeded team in NHL history to sweep the top-seeded team in their conference. After shutting out the Blackhaws, this amazing team kept the momentum going by defeating both the St. Louis Blues and Anaheim Ducks in six games apiece.
