The SASH Program (Sell A Senior's Home) announced today the 5-year anniversary of their senior home sale service, in which each transaction is custom-designed to meet senior clients’ specific requirements. SASH provides seniors with a private and custom-designed home sale service, allowing them to bypass the stress and unknowns of a conventional market sale. Each senior client is treated with integrity, respect, and dignity as evidenced by SASH testimonials from former clients and their families.

The SASH Program was founded in 2005 by Rebecca Bomann, a real estate professional with a background in social work, after helping her own Grandfather to sell his home. Ms. Bomann thought there should be a less stressful and more dignified way for seniors to sell their homes, and so she started SASH.

“My grandfather was an incredible man, but his final home sale was a nightmare and this shouldn’t have been so,” stated Rebecca Bomann, Founder and CEO of The SASH Program. “Seniors deserve a better alternative; one with dignity and respect and for their unique needs. Each time we have the opportunity to serve a senior homeowner, it is an honor to us. We have the privilege to make a difference in the life of a senior, and to make their home sale an easy one instead of a stressful one.”

Over the past 5 years, The SASH Program senior home sale service has purchased properties that otherwise were scheduled to be bulldozed, and restored them to beautiful condition. SASH has bought new constructions, condominiums, huge six-bedroom estates, and tiny one-bedroom homes from seniors located both in the city and out in the country. The shortest closing was 10 days and the longest 14 months, with every transaction time line based entirely on the seniors’ specific moving plans.

“From the very first SASH client, we’ve tailored each home purchase around the senior homeowners’ specific needs,” Ms. Bomann went on to say. “We have transacted over 40 custom-designed home sales, and plan to provide hundreds more in the next few years.”
