Street Food Writers Rank Eight California Food Truck Events and Festivals

A popular San Francisco-based mobile food blog, Stitches n Dishes has published a report, ranking eight major food truck events and festivals throughout California.

San Francisco food writers and Social Media Marketing experts, Christopher Ford and Andrew Nicora at Stitches ‘n Dishes have published a report, ranking eight major California street food events throughout the state.
The review considered, customer and food truck operator feedback, location and attractions, event website, event organizer responsiveness, fee structures for vendors and fees to customers (ie. admission and parking). Each of the eight street food events received a letter grade ranking based on the review criteria.
“Through our travels around California and beyond, we encounter food truck and street food fairs, events and festivals in almost every city and locale. Many events have a lot in common, but a few really stand out,” said Ford.
People of all ages are drawn to food festivals, and are especially fond of mobile food festivals and gatherings. Operating a mobile food truck or stand can sometimes be a political nightmare, especially in cities and counties with restrictive mobile food vending ordinances. Events present a simple solution to food truck operators, and a low-cost form of entertainment for guests.
Not all events are created equally. “We looked at many factors,” said Nicora, “including the location, parking, variety of foods, prices, customer reviews, and we also considered food truck operators’ feedback.”
