Students give thumbs up to IAB bookkeeping courses

Industry: Business

The International Association of Book-keepers has received big thumbs up from students who have completed IAB bookkeeping courses and qualifications and become accredited

Kent (PRUnderground) February 7th, 2014

Students who gained bookkeeping qualifications through the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) last year have given a resounding vote of confidence to the organisation’s bookkeeping, computerised accounting and payroll and bookkeeping courses.

The IAB’s Annual Feedback Survey of more than 100 candidates who gained bookkeeping qualifications in 2013 found that 83.5% were either fairly or extremely satisfied with their course, with almost half (45.9%) falling into the extremely satisfied category.

The survey, which was conducted among candidates who had either attended a training centre or studied via a distance learning course, also found that more than three-quarters (77.6%) were either satisfied or extremely satisfied with the quality of tuition they received.

When asked about the service provided by the IAB, 78.6% were either satisfied or extremely satisfied.

“Understanding how our candidates found their courses is important as it helps us to continually review content and delivery,” said Malcolm Trotter, Chief Executive of the IAB.

“While the positive responses are pleasing and reflect the effort we put in to ensuring the IAB book-keeping qualifications are relevant and rewarding, our survey also allows respondents to leave comments that help us to identify any areas that may need improving.

“We are grateful to those who took time to complete the survey which helps us ensure our courses fully equip candidates who go on to a career in bookkeeping.”

The IAB is the leading UK and international professional body for those providing bookkeeping and related accounting services to small businesses. The IAB bookkeeping courses are suitable for a variety of levels of bookkeeping. If you are interested in becoming a qualified bookkeeper, visit the website for more information.
