Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals around the globe, in partnership with Crowdnetic has announced that registration is now open for Crowdfinance 2015: The Evolution of Global Marketplace Lending. This premier event, which is in its third year, will be held in New York City at Thomson Hall on September 28th and will focus on the marketplace lending industry.

We look forward to hosting this event covering innovations in alternative finance,” said Debra Walton, chief content officer for Thomson Reuters. The previous two conferences brought together industry thought leaders who are working to reshape access to capital and investment, and in our third year of hosting this event, we are enthusiastic to see what insights these innovators provide.”

Industry leaders have already committed to presenting and engaging in panel discussions.  Speakers include the founders and executives of Avant, Funding Circle, SoFi, Kabbage, Upstart, DriverUp, LendKey, BBVA, PatchofLand, Auto One, Credit Suisse and Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust.  Representatives from renowned educational institutions such as the University of Chicago and the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance are also slotted to speak at the conference.

  • The Global Landscape
  • From P2P to Marketplace Lending
  • Banks in the New Paradigm

  • Financing Real Estate
  • Securitizations

“With every year, the intricacies of the alternative finance space grow.  Concurrently, so does the attention from more traditional corners of the finance industry.  We are proud to announce that we will be holding this event in a larger conference hall than previous years in order to facilitate this interest in our event, which was sold out last year,” says Luan Cox, co-founder and CEO of Crowdnetic.

The event is sponsored by Thomson Reuters, Funding Circle, Metropolitan Capital, BBVA Compass, Auto One, Patch of Land, Equities.com, Springboard Enterprises and ArchOver.
