Music inspired Live Improv Painting! Artist Tom Reyes of Tokyo, Creator of Visible Sound, joins Jazz Musician Great Michael Wolff for a unique Art & Music Duet event.

The Good Vibe Studio in Thousand Oaks is hosting a community Arts & Jazz event on Sunday, August 11th at 2PM, featuring Visual Sound Artist Tom Reyes creating avant garde paintings to live jazz piano music played by renowned musician Mike Wolff of New York.
In the spirit of the American abstract expressionist: Motherwell, Rothko and Pollock, “Visible Sound” is on the cutting edge of American Art. A collaboration between the world’s great jazz musicians and artist Tom Reyes unleashes the powerful connection between color and sound.

Reyes has worked with the greats in Jazz and paintings hang around the world in public and private spaces. Anything can happen when pianist/composer Michael Wolff enters a studio. Susan Ross, event host and creator of the Good Vibe Studio is counting on that. The Studio is a music & meetings venue for artists and entrepreneurs of all ages, to meet, create and collaborate in innovative ways – offering a wide range of music themed parties and inspired business, corporate training and team building events designed to spark synchronicity, innovation and creative leadership. Science has confirmed the tight connection between music, art, creativity and effective leadership. In an ever-growing search for creative business leaders, inventors and innovators, Ross believes that in order to maximize personal and professional creativity, we need to develop our inner “improv artist”, which is what happens at The Good Vibe Studio on many unique levels.
This Visible Sound event is a perfect example of how creators from 2 worlds, Painting and Jazz Music, working in harmony, can create an amazing and unexpected result- just as when leaders and entrepreneurs collaborate, says Ross, who actively speaks on creative leadership and promotes the growing science behind the idea that inspired leadership requires developing ones inner artistic and improvisational abilities.
Reyes’ paintings will be on display and available for viewing and purchase during an afternoon of Live Jazz with Live Improvisational Painting by Reyes followed by a Jazz & Jam session with several local professional musicians. $15 Donation/$25 for 2 includes appetizers, beverages, music & more!
