Celestial Caring Enterprise, LLC announces today’s official music video, “Make It Funky 5: The Legacy Continues” that is a Tribute to the Godfather of Soul, James Brown.  The band members, Gerald West, Geoffrey West, and David Williams gives the world a music video that is more than just a music video but created, “Make It Funky 5: The Legacy Continues” as a historical documentary film.

The single, “Make It Funky 5: The Legacy Continues” by The WestMob is available on all major digital outlets and streaming platforms, such as Amazon Music, iTunes/Apple Music, Tidal, Spotify, and more.  The music video shows how The WestMob’s mentor, James Brown has had a major life learning experience in their personal lives and as a band.  The WestMob already had a name for themselves in DC and the surrounding areas with a dedicated audience.  Their upbeat sound is unique and different.  The WestMob was always sought out to be booked for a show.  Later as a back up band for James Brown, the band went National as they toured with the Godfather of Soul.  They became family to James Brown, and he named The WestMob, the New JB.

“The WestMob is here to spread our message to the masses to make a difference in bringing healing through our music by creating and performing to bring people together in a positive manner instead of being inflicted with the injustice of what society is fighting today,” said Gerald West from The WestMob.

The WestMob shows you the scene on where they had their first show held outside Uptown Washington, DC.  The music video shares early memories of growing up in 1968 with their family from an old screen black and white view.  At a young age, James Brown inspired The WestMob. They set out to get just as funky as James Brown, and that is exactly what the band did as a family unit.  The video, “Make It Funky 5: The Legacy Continues” shows segments of performances by James Brown, as well as, The WestMob.

A mix between GoGo, Jazz, and R&B, The WestMob gives their audience an upbeat tempo for the grown and sexy of all ages to boogie with them as they play their instruments and sing.  This talented band knew how to uplift the crowd and make them get funky on the dance floor.  Today, the family continues to stay together along with other team members who became a part of their family on this journey in showcasing their music to the world.  On December 4, 2020, the music video, “Make It Funky 5: The Legacy Continues” by The WestMob was released as a world premiere on YouTube at 10:00am EST.  The full music video can be watched on The WestMania Productions YouTube channel.
