World Leaders Entertained at WCH’s Star Studded Concert for Humanity

We Care for Humanity successfully held its first annual Concert for Humanity filled with talented performing artists and attended by dignitaries, royals and humanitarians

We Care for Humanity (WCH) presented a unique celebration to promote universal humanitarianism, the CONCERT FOR HUMANITY, under the patronage of Princess Raden Dato’Seri Maria Amor Torres, DK, DD,in collaboration with Bishop Joy Theriot and Rev. Guruji Dileepkumar Thankappan is a featured side event of the 4th Global Officials of Dignity Awards and was held last August 18, 2016 at the Social Hall, #4 West 43rd St. New York 10036.

The said celebration was attended by eminent honorees and speakers of the 4th G.O.D. Awards such as His Excellency Dr. Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka, Immediate Former Vice President of Kenya, Her Excellency Rosalia Arteaga, Mr. Binod Chaudhary, the first and only Billionaire of Nepal and other high profile personalities.

“I am extremely grateful to these magnificent artists who contributed their talents, time and energy to this concert for the benefit of the so many humanitarian projects of We Care for Humanity. At the same time, I am in awe and full of admiration to the wonderful perfomances they just displayed tonight, truly amazing and inspirational!”, said Princess Maria.

The array of performing artists are as follows:

Alston Koch is a Sri Lanka born Australian singer-songwriter, film producer, record producer and actor. He was awarded “World Artist of The Year” at the Global Officials of Dignity Awards presented at the United Nations in New York and also received State of California Senate’s Certificate of Recognition and Certificate of Special US Congressional Recognition for improving the lives of the communities in America.

Morris Hayes is a talented musician, producer, and band leader. As a keyboardist, Hayes has worked with superstars such as Prince, George Clinton, Elton John, Whitney Houston, and Stevie Wonder. He was one of the 2013 inductees into the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame.

Frank Haye and The Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir is an ensemble committed to bringing people together through artistic expression. Founder Frank A. Haye, conductor, choral director, flutist, composer, and producer, states “BIC is a group of performing ambassadors that will spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ through song in the tri-state area, as well as throughout the United States and abroad.”  BIC records and ministers in different venues, including churches, temples, festivals, concert halls, clubs, street fairs and private functions.

Soprano Rachel Hippert has recently performed with the New York Opera Exchange (“Fiordiligi” in Così fan tutte), the New York Evangelic Choir (“Mother” in Amahl and the Night Visitors), and the Opera Company of Brooklyn (“Elettra” in Mozart’s Idomeneo). Ms. Hippert earned her B.M. in voice performance from Boston University, is an alumna of Ann Baltz’s Operaworks Advanced Artist Program, Sherril Milnes’ V.O.I.C.Experience!, and Simon Estes’ Young Artist Performance Program. She studies with Arthur Levy.

Bindiya  Prasad  comes  from  Kerala, India.  She  is  a  well  known  exponent  of Indian  dance  and  received  her  early training  in  the  Bharata  Natyam, Mohiniyattam  and  Kuchupudi  styles from  her  mother  and  guru  Smt. Krishnaveni,  an  alumnus  of  Kalakshetra in  Madras.  Bindiya  received  Indian Presidential  Award  in  1998.  She dedicated  herself  to  teaching  and performing  classical  dance  forms  over 25  years  and  travelled  internationally. 

World Yoga Community is a non-profit organization and internationaly working with numerous ethnic groups, yoga practitioners, artists, musicians, dancers, spiritual and community leaders and non-profit organizations including NGOs from the United Nations.

Kikuta Yukino is a Japanese Broadway Singer from Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, Japan. She has performed on Broadway, the United Nations General Assembly Youth Conference 2016. She has performed in the Bowery House Soho. She also sang as backup Singer to gospel Grammy award winner Jennifer Halliday. She also performed at the Trump plaza at the Barinu Institute Event. Yukino has a golden voice and is an extraordinary Singer with exceptional talent. 

Princess Harakawa is a Spoken Words artist and a poetess. Her birth into the world began in the 70’s. Born to a noble/aristocrat family whom where also gold and precious minerals and stone merchants/travelers. Her family is multi cultural from various parts of Nubia which was also known as Ethiopia regions northern, Eastern, Southern and western parts of what is now called Africa today, recent dna results show her also linked to one of the world’s most ancient race of humanity known as the Khoisan an Asiatic Desert tribe.

Tony Taylor was born and raised in Staten Island, NY where he is currently living.  He is an actor, model, musician, singer and composer.  He started singing, playing and learning music in his early teens.  He became more involved in his home church where he desired to be a musician (play piano, etc.) As he bloomed as a musician he began to participate in other musical programs outside his home church for gospel choir’s musical plays and ventured into acting.

The concert was hosted by Jacob Wheeler and Angy Mera. Jacob is an actor, singer, poet who spent over fifteen years exploring his creative talents in various capacities within the entertainment and fashion industries of Europe and Asia—at times acting, often singing, but whether in Rome, Tokyo, Cannes or Paris, always pursuing his creative impulses. A former U. S. Air Force Intelligence Specialist, Jacob is fluent in French and Italian and is currently studying Spanish. 

Angy Mera or Angelica Mera-Schaefer is a real estate professional who specializes in high-end residential sales and rentals in Manhattan. She is the founder and Artistic/Communications Director of FASBET, www.fasbet.org a non for profit foundation created in 2005 to teach Music and The Arts to children who have mental disabilities and who are less fortunate in Colombia and currently a Publciity Ambassador and PR Director of We Care for Humanity.
