$250 Million Approved for Redevelopment of Denver Western Stock Show says Construction Reporter

The 100 year-old historic National Western Stock Show site hosts annual, 16 day events drawing more than 700,000 and featuring rodeos, livestock auctions, dog and horse shows, among other events.  It is located in northern Denver at 4655 Humboldt Street.

A Master Plan to develop 270 acres around the stock show site was released late last year, developed by partners including the Denver Museum of Nature and Science, the City and County of Denver, the State of Colorado, Colorado State University, and the National Western Stock Show.  A big part of the plan involves converting the stock show building into the “National Western Center,” which can be used year-round.

The master plan is conceived as an eight-phase project to be supported via public and private funds, and completed within a decade.  Learn more about this and other construction projects across New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and southern Texas here.
