Ahmed Nashaat: Sinai Liberation Day to be Celebrated in April 2018

The day that the nation of Egypt recovered Sinai made history. For this reason, the annual Sinai Liberation Day festival is slated to take place once again on April 25, 2018, in Egypt.

On April 25, 1982, Israeli forces finally withdrew from the Sinai Peninsula, according to Ahmed Nashaat, an engineer and philanthropist who is passionate about Egypt. Details regarding the liberation can be found in the Israel-Egypt Peace Treaty, which the two sides signed in 1979. In celebration of this historical event, special events have been organized throughout the Sinai Peninsula for April of next year. These events are free to the public.
