America's Next Top Model winner Naima Mora to guest lecture at Barbizon Modeling NYC while promoting her new book Model Behavior.

On April 13, 2014, Naima Mora, winner of Tyra Banks’s hit television show America’s Next Top Model, will be visiting Barbizon Modeling NYC to present a guest lecture to students of the iconic modeling academy. The high-fashion model will lecture on highlights from her career as an international model and plans to workshop runway walks with students as to inspire and encourage young models to reach towards their professional and personal goals on April 13 from 12:00-3:00PM.
Mora reached international fame when she broke into the world of high-fashion modeling after winning the title of america’s Next Top Model in 2008. Today, she remains an all time “fan favorite” and continues to book covers of many high-profile magazines around the world. She has walked the runway for some of fashion’s top designers and has been the face of globally known cosmetic lines such as cover Girl. The multi-talented star is on the road promoting her first book titled “Model Behavior” wherein the Detroit native explores her youth, growing up in the tumultuous climate at ends with her avant garde parents jazz band and her introduction to buddhism.
Each of Barbizon’s training programs includes an “Industry Professional” day where students are treated to a guest lecture from a professional model, actor, singer or dancer. The behind-the-scenes testimonials are an important part of learning the industry and Barbizon is happy to provide students with the opportunity to meet their favorite stars and idols.
