Bookimed Announces Record Number of Requests

Under the leadership of CEOs and founders Yevhenii Kozlov and Ievgen Khotianov, half a million people from 190 countries looking for treatment selected Bookimed so far.

“500,000 patient requests means a lot — 500,000 medical cases studied in detail, 500,000 treatment programs created. The average medical center accumulates similar experiences over the years. Therefore, for the company and me personally, half a million of requests means expertise, trust, the quality increase of service, and the fulfilled expectations of half a million families.”

Ievgen Khotianov

Even though tourism is among the most affected sectors by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the number of requests continues to rise. The top demanded quotes are related to severe conditions requiring urgent medical care — such as cancer treatment, neurosurgery, heart surgery, and those meant to be non-urgent — as plastic surgery and IVF chosen by people considering it is a good time for recovery during the quarantine.

“Some visits are still canceled or postponed, but its number is trending down. The demand is growing, and the market is recovering much faster than the tourism sector. With this change, we’re making the product for patients more mobile. Thus, we’ve changed basic communications from calls into messengers where we stay in touch with a person 24/7 for any issues. Unlike the way of communicating, our goal remains the same: “To provide access to the best medical solutions. For everyone.”

Yevhenii Kozlov

In the face of increased demand, the platform continues to open new opportunities. So far, one can find a medical center or a doctor of interest, check the prices, read reviews of other users after verified treatment experience, and schedule visits. The information is available in 3 languages — English, Arabic, and Russian.
