Miami Beach, FL (PRUnderground) December 8th, 2021

The Countdown to celebrate the end of 2021 has started now!

Miami Beach is one of the most happening places to bring in the new year and celebrating new years and the arrival of 2022 in this beautiful destination, which will create lifelong memories. Not only will there be parties taking place throughout South Beach, but the area’s restaurants will ensure that you can bring in the new years in style, and the beach, of course, is always a popular place to enjoy the festivities.

The Beacon South Beach is situated perfectly for enjoying end of year activities and start of year fun. Top-notch restaurants are nearby. In fact, A Fish Called Avalon is next door. Clubs, such as Mangos, are a short walk away. The beach is even closer with the waves just a few hundred feet away.

This art deco boutique hotel also provides a respite from all of that excitement, ensuring that you can relax when you want to. In addition, its commitment in providing excellent hotel customer service will ensure that your stay is a positive one.

One other consideration to make when deciding what region, you want to be in while bringing in the new year is the expected weather. Note that even those elsewhere in Florida will often experience a nice bump up in temperature when coming to Miami Beach for New Year’s. Take off your coats, hop into some swim trunks and soak up as much sun as possible, or not, the sun will be here 365 days of the year.

What are some of the events happening in and near South Beach as we welcome in 2022? Read on.

Ode to Joy: A New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Those looking for a classy celebration that is free and family-friendly to bring in the new year should consider heading a mile north of the Beacon South Beach to Collins Park for Ode to Joy: A New Year’s Eve Celebration! There, Orchestra Miami will produce beautiful music from 7 p.m. until 2022 arrives at midnight with a fireworks celebration.

Bayfront Park New Year’s Eve

Arguably the region’s largest celebration bringing in the new year will be downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park New Year’s Eve. This free event consists of a street party full of music, dancing and festivities, starting at 8 p.m. and lasting past midnight. Note that the crowds here are significant, generally numbering in the tens of thousands, which is great if you want that type of atmosphere while those looking for a more laidback celebration should head elsewhere.

Doja Cat With Special Guest Alesso

Meanwhile, 3 miles to the north, at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, will be Doja Cat and Alesso getting the party going with live renditions of their hit songs. Concertgoers get to enjoy an oceanside view as well. Entry to this event starts at $299 and reaches thousands of dollars for those wanting to take advantage of the VIP packages on offer.

Alesso at LIV

Also 3 miles north will be a happening event at LIV that features Alesso, one of the world’s premier DJs, performing live. Those looking to enter this event prior to the new year being rung in at midnight will be paying $300 for general admission access or $6,000+ for a table.

Chotto Matte’s The Forest of Hikari

A mile and a half to the northwest of us, in the Lincoln Road area, is Chotto Matte, a Nikkei restaurant that features beautiful hanging gardens underneath wood ceilings. On New Year’s Eve, it will be home to the Forest of Hikari, a combination of the Hikari Renaissance light festival and the rainforest in Peru. Live DJs will be performing as well. Festivities will run from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Wter at the Rooftop

Just under 2 miles north of our accommodations is Watr at the Rooftop, a restaurant that, as its name indicates, provides a beautiful rooftop view of the surroundings, including of the beach. This ocean-inspired culinary destination serves food that has a mix of Japanese and Peruvian influences. On New Year’s Eve, these offerings will include sushi rolls and cocktails. If you are looking to be here late that evening, enjoying it will cost $225 per person.
