Experiential Resources (“ERi”) has released a video sharing the latest construction update for SkyBridge Michigan, a 1,200-foot-long [365 meter] suspension bridge being built at Boyne Mountain Resort in Boyne Falls, Michigan, USA.

The video shows the two main suspension cables in place, as well as the installation of vertical suspender cables that will support the 1,023-foot-long [311 meter] walking deck of the bridge. Highlighting the professionals performing the work at about 130 feet [40 meters] in the air, the scenes can be both beautiful and intimidating depending on an individual viewer’s comfort level with heights.

SkyBridge Michigan is designed and built by ERi and will be the world’s longest timber-towered suspension bridge. Designed to be open year-round, visitors to the bridge can enjoy breathtaking views of the Boyne Valley, fall colors, and snowboarders and skiers beneath them, all from 118 feet [36 meters] in the air.
