F4 Foundation, Yellowblue & TruWatch Participate in Sweet Cases Program By Together We Rise

F4 Foundation, the charitable organization supported by yellowblue and TruWatch, announced their recent involvement with the Sweet Cases Program by Together We Rise (TWR). The program was introduced during a landmark Super Saturday Conference that welcomed over 150 independent yellowblue and TruWatch dealers and consultants. During the conference, Robert Krasawski, Executive Director, F4 Foundation, explained the program, its importance, and F4 Foundation’s initial sponsorship of 60 Sweet Cases of $1700.

Sweet Cases consist of duffel bags filled with hygiene kits, blankets, coloring books, crayons and miscellaneous toys.  These duffel bags are given to some of the 500,000 children newly brought into the foster care system each year, many of whom were previously forced to carry their belongings in trash bags when being shifted from one home to another—sometimes multiple times each year.  By taking the place of a black trash bag, sweet cases help a foster child keep their belongings—and their self-worth—intact.

“When attendees walked into the main room of their latest conference, they were greeted by tables full of the sponsored empty bags, teddy bears, hygiene kits and boxes of fabric markers. Before we shared the YouTube video on Sweet Cases, a lot of people at the conference were looking at the bags and teddy bears with some confusion,” laughed Krasawski. “Once they understood the significance, and saw the hardships these young children have to endure, the passion and excitement to get involved simply exploded. I think that says a lot about the Sweet Cases Program as a whole. We can sometimes look at these duffel bags and think that they’re just duffel bags. But a child in the foster care system looks at the bag as so much more. It was a fun exercise. It’s our goal to impact each and every community we gather together in. Children’s Home and Aid, based in Chicago, received the bags and will distribute them to the foster kids of the Greater Chicago area.”

Krasawski added that F4 Foundation was able to raise a total of $3,828 due to generous contributions from independent yellowblue and TruWatch dealers and consultants. F4 Foundation has stated that they will use the contributions to sponsor additional Sweet Cases, continuing to help children cope with the difficult experiences of living in the foster care system. “We’re very fortunate to have the support of two great organizations like yellowblue and TruWatch,” Krasawski concluded. “Watching their will and selfless effort unfold for such a great cause was a humbling and inspirational experience.”
