The birth of Tijerina Legal Group, P.C:
Growing up, Tijerina witnessed a great deal of inequality in our communities – and even personally experienced discrimination. This motivated him to want to learn how to defend and protect those that are taken advantage of and who are unable to protect themselves against the insurance behemoths.
Early in his legal career, Tijerina worked as a lawyer focusing on business deals and other legal corporate matters. “Dealing in business transaction matters taught me to exercise increased attention to detail. Eventually, this translated to using these skills to identify what steps one must take as a personal injury attorney to help our community,” he says.
He founded Tijerina Legal Group, PC in the middle of the one of toughest times for a business to start, the recession of 2008. These challenging times coupled with Tijerina’s persistence in succeeding in life and in his legal experiences helped Tijerina Legal Group forge ahead as an innovator in the management of personal injury cases and in providing outstanding customer service. As a result, to date, he and his team have recovered millions of dollars for thousands of people in the Rio Grande Valley community.
