Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity Invite Discerning Catholic Women – Spring Discernment Events

Franciscan Sisters welcome Single Young Adult and Professional Catholic Women ages 20-40 to Silent Retreats based on the wisdom of St. Ignatius in making life decisions. Sister Jacqueline Spaniola Retreat Director leads the talks that include time for questions. Prayer times follows each presentation allowing for an opportunity to consider one’s own call from God. One on one time with Sister is also provided.

Sr Jackie explained “The Retreats are based on Discernment of Spirits – St. Ignatius’ twenty two rules for discerning a calling and understanding God’s will in one’s life. During the one day mostly silent retreat, women will learn tools for making intentional and prayerful life decisions. “

“Young women said ‘if it’s a quiet retreat I will go’ and I think young women in their twenties and thirties are seeing that they need that quiet that the society is not giving them. They just want some quiet time to really reflect on what God is asking them to do.”

Join Us on April 25: Discernment of Spirits Retreat with Franciscan Sisters and Cistercian Nuns at Valley of Our Lady Monastery, Hollandale, Wisconsin or May 15-17: Discernment of Spirits Retreat at Holy Family Motherhouse in Manitowoc, Wisconsin
