Danish contemporary artist Michael K. Owino, often referred to as “The Rainbow Artist” for his emotionally charged use of color and visual storytelling, is expanding his international presence across Milan, Madrid, Rome, Cannes, New York and Barcelona.
Working across painting, mixed media and sculpture, Owino explores themes of identity, emotional transformation, modern perception and public image culture.
Recent international appearances and recognitions include participation connected to Artexpo New York, the International Prize “The Universal Genius” in Milan, the “CARAVAGGIO – Great Master of Art” prize in Madrid, and upcoming projects connected to Cannes and Barcelona.
Rather than relying on constant social media output, Owino has focused on building a highly curated artistic identity through strong visual narratives, selective public presence and international visibility.
“The modern artist is no longer only competing inside galleries,” says Owino. “We are competing inside culture itself — through images, attention and public perception.”
Operating from Copenhagen, Owino represents a new generation of contemporary artists combining visual art, branding and modern media awareness in an increasingly oversaturated digital landscape.
