Luxury Brand to Offer Its Complete Line of World Class Fine Fragrances That Will Take Consumers “Further than Fragrance”

Glasshouse Fragrances, a leading brand in the Australian fragrance market, announced today it will launch in the United States on June 15th, 2021.  Starting this summer, Glasshouse Fragrance’s extensive line of premium home and personal fragrance products will be available for online purchase and delivery to U.S. customers.

The high-quality, handcrafted scents are all inspired by destinations from around the globe and their labels read of exotic locales such as Melbourne Muse, A Place in Paris and Sydney Sundays.  Each features a specific artisanal aromatic profile, from floral to gourmand to woody, guaranteed to make a powerful lifestyle statement and satisfy even the most discerning of fragrance lovers.

Glasshouse Fragrances was founded in 2005 by Nicole Eckels, a New York firebrand far from home.  Having ventured to Sydney in search of adventure, Nicole found the native scents of New South Wales to be exotic and enchanting.  The products that brought them to life?  Not so much.  So she created Glasshouse Fragrances – as much to fill the fragrant void in the market, as the one in her own living space.  She started with a focus on candles, making the first prototypes in her kitchen.  Curating ingredients, folding them in layers until the notes became a song, she felt moved to places, times, and feelings she had never known before.  She knew then her scents had unlocked a power she wanted to share with the world.

Today Glasshouse Fragrances is the leading fragrance brand in Australasia where the company has created a multitude of fine fragrances that take every form – each of which is designed to electrify customers through their sense of smell.

Nicole still leads the brand which employs about 180 people.   She still creates new fragrances, still invents new formats, and quality-checks products every day.  Now, after 16 years, she’s back in NYC—happy to be home and proud to introduce the Glasshouse Fragrance brand to North America.

“When I first launched Glasshouse Fragrances, I wasn’t just bringing a product to the shelves; I was creating something that I loved and wanted to use in order to transcend the everyday,” said CEO, Nicole Eckels.  “Glasshouse Fragrances products are made in Australia at our Sydney based factory, and we have offered its luxurious scent experiences to the Australian market now for 16 years. I am extremely proud and happy to be back home and at the beginning of this summer, Americans can experience and understand what the power of scent can do for them.”

In addition to premium candles, Glasshouse Fragrances offers a line of personal scents, diffusers, hand creams, and body washes.

Glasshouse Fragrance products are free from Parabens, PEGS, and contain no animal by-products, can be considered as vegan friendly, and are not tested using animals.
