Mallorca is a wonderful destination to enjoy a summer break, with not only a fabulous number of resorts to choose from but also a wide and varied list of events taking place throughout the year; making it an ideal destination for a villa holiday.
If you are staying in Majorca during June you will find everything from Spring fairs to internationally renowned exhibitions taking place, here are just a few that you could be sampling alongside the Balearic Island’s great scenery and resorts.
Many of our villas are located in the wonderful resort of Cala d’or which will be celebrating its annual jazz festival at the beginning of June, not only will there plenty of local and Spanish musicians in attendance, there will be acts taking part from across the world. The Jazz festival runs from the 5th to the 12th of June and is a great event to combine with a villa holiday in the area.
Currently taking place is the Manacor Spring Festival. The event includes an agricultural and livestock fair, so there are plenty of animals on show as well as street entertainment and lots more. Much more than an agricultural fair and market, the Manacor Spring Festival features its own parade complete with traditional giants and decorated floats.
If you are looking for something quite a little different to visit, whilst enjoying a stay in our villas in Majorca in June, you will find that an exhibition will be taking place in Palma that details the famous Chinese Terracotta Army. Featuring actual figures and lots of related exhibits, the six month long event is just one more example of the varied and cultural attractions you could be experiencing whilst staying inMallorca.
