Singing has been a big part of KANDA’s life from his early years. He is constantly developing as an artist, by challenging himself to create compelling stories through his music.

Born in Coventry on 04/04/04, he made it through to the final of Open Mic UK performing at The O2 in London on 1st Feb 2020.Alongside his studies, KANDA has been developing his talent in both writing and performing music.

At the age of 17, he has already had some of his tracks play listed on many UK radio stations, including being Artist of the Month on BBC CWR’s in November 2020 and Introducing Artist of the week for BBC Asian Network on Bobby Friction’s show in January 2021.

He also gained a feature on Tom Robinson’s BBC Radio 6 show where Tom described his song “Never the Same” as “the most emotionally powerful song” he had heard signifying the BLM Movement.

Collaborating with Panjabi MC for his next single Latino Heat, KANDA’s catchy hook line and PMC’s thunderous beat, will sure to have you dancing on your feet!
